Kota Crazy

I have officially gone Christmas Shopping Crazy! Tonight I was in Wal-Mart calmly looking at toys. Just to see if there was anything else Santa needed to bring British when I made quite the discovery! They had marked down or rolled back (or whatever it is Wal-Mart does) the price of the Playskool Kota The Triceratops ride on dinosaur thing-a-ma-bob to $99.00*. This toy is regular 299.99, so I snatched one up! I NEVER come across deals like that!

I was so pleased with myself. I lugged the huge box out to my car to find it wouldn't fit in the back of my SUV. I had to call hubby to bring his truck. Of course he wasn't as pleased as I was...He was a little...Shall we say pissed? We had agreed that I had already gone a little overboard with the Santa shopping, and I go and get him a ride on dinosaur! What can I say? I'm a little crazy!! Anyway we got it home and Nathan pointed out it was for ages 3 and up...Hopefully he'll still be able to use it though. At 21 months British is already pretty tall.

Also, I went on the Wal-Mart website and they have Kota listed at 199.99. So, I don't know if it was a temporary markdown or what. But, if any of y'all wanna get one of these for your little dinosaur lovers, I suggest getting down to your local Wal-Mart ASAP to try to get in on the deal.

*The $99 price is marked on a display sign. On the actual aisle that the toy is on, it still says the regular price.

Oh and Hubby's not mad anymore! Now he just thinks it's funny!
